Left 4 Dead question

What would you need at minimum to play left 4 dead maxed out? full AA and AF included. I can only play at 1024x768 resolution with 75hz refresh rate so I guess that helps a bit. Must be able to get a least 45fps consistently.
Could a 9400gt/9500gt do this with decent CPU and PSU? I know for a fact that the 9600gt can max it out.

I also will play with 2Gb RAM on windows xp, hacked for directx10.

I would say a 9500GT would max it at that res....its not a very demanding game imo.

But its not a great card,I wouldnt reccomend anything less than a 9600gt these days if your a gamer.

As for this

The hack does not work,It only makes Xp say it has DX10 where infact its still DX9.

Also to mention L4D is DX9,Not DX10

well that's good news. I'm not much of a gamer. no time to game imo. School ftl.
I only play: Left 4 Dead, CS:S, HL2, and various other games.
And with the GeForce 9 series being DX10, they could handle all DX9 games easily right?

EDIT: Microsoft is sneaky. they advertise DX10 vs DX9, in one shot, the DX9 pic didnt have light beams... even DX9 can do that. Look at Far Cry (original) and Hitman Blood Money.
Speaking of hitman blood money, my current Radeon X1650 Pro can max that game with more than 40fps...
with AA and AF on max. (16x AF, 6x AA)
