Lenovo ThinkPad T460S - resolution problem (?) in Word?

Hi,
I have an issue with my ThinkPad T460S. So far I just lived with it but I figured maybe there's a way to improve my life a bit.
To summarize, just have a look at how documents in MS word look, using times new roman size 12: http://ibb.co/dL02HF
Ugly, isn't it?
What can I do to make the font look smooth?

My Toshiba laptop has the same problem but worse. I know my screen is higher res than what I see...
