OK here it is in simplier terms

new system:

ASUS P5ND2-SLI
P4 630 Prescott 3.0GHZ 800FSB socket 775
667 DDR2 PC2-5300
SB0350 Audigy SB
ATI Radeon 7000 64MB PCI
425 watts PS

Boots into BIOS - then, after I exit BIOS, with Windows XP install CD in tray the video goes out and it just sits there.

Anybody? Why after I exit BIOS do I lose video (monitor goes from green to amber).

what are you trying to do install xp for the first time ?
does the bios show the cdrom and the hard drive.
do you have the bios set to boot from cdrom.
