can we discuss about it??..:)

for what your wanting out of a PC. $500 might not do it. Unless you get your parts used for cheap. That's what I did...

AlienGUlse theme is pretty much cool. i've downloads it and just use it.

ok, about the pc maybe I will choose a suite that closed for the needed.

about the software, any idea???

For the internet browser, I use firefox and find it very satisfactory. Also, as it isnt as mainstream as IE, less viruses are targeted at it. But Probably just go with IE7 or something. It has tabbed browsing which is of the reasons I began using Firefox.

For anitvirus software, I suggest norton antivirus. I think you can download it free with the google pack. just type it into google and see.

I use Paintshop Pro X for picture editing but that is an expensive program.
Not sure about other ones but I recommend that one.

For a media player I would probably stick with WMP 11.
Personally I use itunes. But that doesnt support as many types of media.

i bought my pc from compusa that had a really nice rebate and all i bought after i got was a video card (for dual monitors) and upgraded the RAM. keep searching though.

The only thing is it does not have a LCD monitor and a good video card.

I will buy the one below, if i had the cash

good deal i think

Its from circuitcity by the way

Norton Antivirus is quite good, but i see all my frieds prefer AVG. Did it works better than Norton?
Adobe Photoshop, maybe i will use it but still looking for others.
For media plyer, WMP11 is nice to me. Im still looking plyer that support huge media format.

nice suggest:) thanks

For antivirus, I would advise against Norton as it takes up a lot of ressources and it isn't really performant at all. AVG is already a good free compromise, I personally use AVS (Active Virus Shield) which is made by the same company as Kaspersky but is sponsored by AOL, fortunatly it does not have any nuisance from AOL. I personally switched to AVS because Kasperky is the only antivirus that got me rid of something I had while I used AVG. Also, other people will suggest Avast, which I do not personally know, but which is also quite reputable.
