When I insert this 1 GB Lexar Jumpdrive I see only a 7.78MB Public Directory with
nothing on it just free space to use. No files or drivers in that space.
How do I access the rest of the space? Do I need to install any drivers?
Please help. Thank You.

Have you put anything on the drive? folder you're in that has public directory is probably the "rest of the space."

I'd be sure there's no type of special software needed, or anything like Sandisks crappy U3 junk loaded on them(I seriously hope Lexar's not starting anything like that...) I don't have a 1GB Lexar, but the older smaller ones I have from them are basic flash drives with single partitions and no special files required or installed...

I can put data only upto 7.78 Mb. I do not have any other files or directories
in the drive. It cannot store more than 7.78 Mb. I get "No space on the drive" message after 7.78 Mb.
