LGA755 socket no good hmmm?

Ok so I'm told is basically if i want a better gaming computer my 755 socket mobo isn't going to cut it. true false? any suggestions for a new mobo?

what are you willing/planning to spend on it, you will basically have to buy a new everything almost

If it's cheaper than upgrading to a new platform and you can afford it, then why not? I used 775 up until late last year. As long as you have something with DDR3 and any other features you want, I'd say go for it.
