Light Gaming Laptop

Hey I am asking for your help to chose a laptop that I can game on but also bring to my classes.

1. Price

I need it to be below 1400 usd.

2. Games:

I want to play WOW, Crisis and other high quality games.

3. weight:

I need it below 6 pounds it cant be too heavy.

4. Company:

any company, preferably Asus Quality over name

5. screen size:

14 - 17 inches

6. Battery:

I would like to have a longer lasting battery


If there is nothing in my price range then I would like to have something:) that is near my request.

I would advise against anything alienware... you can get a machine better than it but for less money. Here's a couple I found:

Even the last $900 one I posted will blow through anything. But like Linkin said, you could build a mean desktop for that amount of dough.
 
My brother has that laptop. It gets a 4.0 on the windows Experience index. I know that's not that great of a test, but for that amount of money, it should be more. My $500 desktop gets a was higher score than that. And the specs are not that great, and that Samsung I posted is way better than that.

Windows score means nothing. My radeon 4290 scores 4.4, but I bet that laptop has better performance. If you need performance figures run a 3dmark suite or do some benching.

Windows Experience score is based on the lowest score of the bunch. For gaming laptops that may well be the slow 5200 rpm hard drive.
