i just got some black lights for my computer. after fixing the borken wire on them, i installed them to a computer i was working on and they worked perfectly fine. now, i put them into another computer, and they don't turn on at all. i tried plugging them into other cords, but still, notihng. does anyone konw why my lights wont turn on?
 
Are you running the lights off of the PC's power supply? If so... compare it to the PC that worked because it might not have enough power to run the lights. Just a thought. I have seen something like this before and this is usually the case.

actually, its the same computer :)

i first installed it on the computer before i had RAM and a HDD in it. and then, when the computer was finished, i reinstalled the lights, this time, they jsut dont turn on. the only thing i think it could be is that the power supply is powerfull enough, but i never though that lights would demand that much power.

Lol. I understand. You would be surprised. :) You should probably consider upgrading the power supply.
 
haha, yeah, well the computer was for someone else, so i didn't spend one dollar on building it, the power supply is just a 250
 
Well, recently i put in a 350 watt power supply to replace the 250, and im still not getting lights....

Is there any drivers or programs i have to run in windows to make lights work?

What the heck are you talking about?? The PSU is NOT the issue! If it was, then nothing would turn on, or only turn on for an few seconds! If you bought another PSU I suggest your return it immidiately. That was an waste of $$$.
Either the lights died (unlikely), loose connection, or connectors backward.
