lights?

you can get them from almost any computer store on the web

www.dabs.com
www.newegg.com
www.tigerdirect.com
www.zipzoomfly.com
www.ebay.co.uk

You can put them anywhere, if you get them from a PC store (any of those listed above) they will be 12v DC ones, this is perfect for inside computer cases and can even be wired up to the terminals of a car battery, 12v..... If you werent asking taht and just wanted to know where to put them in a case, then its really up to you, your imagination is the limit

I got these Spire Cold Cathode Lights and I put one on the top like above my PSU and on the side of my CD drive casing, and another along the left side (looking in). I have yet to try them out (I dont have a CPU) but they cant be seen with the side of the case on, so I wont be looking directly at the lights, it will be a cool glow. I cant wait to try them out. I will know Monday, and I will post what I think of them.

Hey

As dragon mentioned, they are available almost anywhere on the net. It is really up to you to position the cathodes/lights right. That would generally depend on the shape of the window, the proximity to a power connector and other such factors. In most cases it would not be desirable to position the lights where they would be clearly visible and could be a nuisance when looked at due to their brightness. I personally would prefer positioning them at the back of the inside of the case or at the top.

They hook up to the 4 pin molex that come out of the PSU. You know, the same things you use for cd drives etc. And iirc, they pass thorugh, meaning that you dont actually take up a plug then.

Heya

Locate the PSU and follow the cables coming from it until you see this:
