I'm not a real big fan of lightscribe, But labels can destroy your drive. Paper comes loose and jams it up. Plus if you don't get the label exactly centered it can throw the disk into a unbalanced condition setting up harmonics that can shatter the disk.
I got a lightscribe that i have used a few times and i like it but I still have tons of Regular CDs RW that I got from Big lots for cheap so i still use my trusted sharpie
why is Sharpie not on the list I think they deserve more then being other
I would probably use lightscribe for music demo CD's Lightscribe
Pro's: Makes a neat image of a label crafted on a CD
Con's: The lightscribe CD's are expensive to buy
Disc Labels
Pro's: Quick and easy to design labels
Con's: Some slim line drives are unable to read them lol! the disc label is too thick and the drives can jam. Also you need a printer to print labels.
Lightscribe seems a tad over the top for basic CD / DVD burning where as labels are too much effort. I'll just continue to use the good old permanent marker onto the face of the CD / DVD .
