Hey I have a lightscribe feature on my dvd burner..what i wanted to know is do you have to have special "lightscribe" cds or dvds to burn the titles and images and texts onto the cd or can u use any regular old cd and dvd and use lightscribe technology to burn images and texts and what not on there? thanks

yea u do, and they are a waste of money. dont even bother, if u need to label the disc then use a sharpie.
 
yeh, u do need the special lightscribe discs, but they dont cost a lot more, check out places like ebay and ebuyer, also try dabs.

:eek: ... what makes you think that lightscribe CDs or DVDs are waste of Money? instead you rather use sharpie... Come on lets be creative here...;)
 
There is nothing wrong with using lightscribe as long as you don't mind that the images are in grayscale; oh! and it does tend to be rather slow. Other than that, it is a decent techology.
