Lightwight Software Programs

Hello
I need an extremely lightweight + fast browser. I had FF but just recently uninstalled it b/c of the freeze ups and slowness. I'm using K-meleon right now but wanted to know if their was a much lighter one. I don't understand how to use Lynx so thats not an option. I also need to find an extremely lightweight timer. Its all for a game. What would you recommend?


I've already tried Fireforx, google chrome, lynx(blehh to complicated),K-meleon.

I was hoping to find one where you can open multiple tabs and bookmar pages.
 
Chrome is about the most lightweight I have used. Galeon is a lightweight browser but i think its only for linux.
 
I had chrome...It was fast at first but that only lasted like 2 weeks. Then it got really slow plus clicking was difficult making me lose points on this game ;)
 
stick to K-meleon, i have used it and its probably the fastest and easiest to use of the lightweight browsers.

I like K meleon but just wanted to know if there was a lighter one. Keeping this one...its my favorite so far.

I know this is probably annoying you people...but I'm computer retarded.
Also need to know if a lightweight program like this even exists.

having memory issues (car accident) and need something to remember other players.
I'd use wordpad but it doesn't have little squares

Maybe...but someone just sent me a simple spreadsheet program....using that one

last question I swear:
Is it okay to uninstall adobe reader+quicktime?
Wanted to make some space but don't know what its for or if it would ruin my cpu if I uninstalled it.
 
if you want a faster lightweight alternative there is "Quicktime Alternative" and "Foxit Reader", both of which I use in place of the bloated Adobe and Apple progs. Just google those name and you should find em.
 
soo quicktime and adobe are pretty much the same then?
okay I'm unstalling quicktime and getting that
