Ok just a heads up I'm a complete noob with liquid coolers and i was wondering if you need to replace fluid and if so do you need to buy it with the cooler H80 is the one i was looking at?

Any Help?

Thanks

the corsair hydro series such as the h80 doesnt require you to change the liquid ever. i have the h50 cuz im old school

its a really awesome form of cooling and lets you overclock quite well!

im no expert, but I am just going to take a guess at it. It is a sealed system, so I would assume that when the coolant starts to evaporate it would be in the system, thus when it cooled down again, it would liquify again and then you have the same amount of coolant you started with.

Again, just an assumption here.

You don't have to replace the coolant in those products. And the coolant doesn't evaporate because the water never reaches boiling temperatures. In order for water or coolant to evaporate, temperatures need to get to around 220 degrees Fahrenheit.

My advice? Get the Antec Kuhler H2O 260. Cools just as well as the H80, but way cheaper. I have it on my Athlon II X2 250, and it's at 30C under full load. like 23C idle. Oh, and did I mention that my CPU is OC'd to 4GHz? :P yeah. It's good.
