I seem to get no joy regarding this simple! question on others forums..

I own a canon IP4300 have done so for 5yrs print res being 9600 x 2400.

Its time i upgraded.

The lastest canon printer..around the £80 mark...also prints 9600 x2400....surprises me...same quality? 5 yrs on?

Any thoughts on best printer i can purchase please. Nice to have photocopiers/scanners..but no essential...happy to fork out £90ish...all i want is...decent inks..and able to print on dvds/cd blank discs.

Thoughts more than welcome...what do you own???

I have an Epson Artisan 810.

No idea on the specs but it prints, scans, faxes...and the 4x6 I often print look great on glossy photo paper. I think it was like $150 Canadian

6 X 4..but ideally slightly bigger.

So...a excellent printer needed.

Great paper

And fabo blank dvds to print onto.

Uk based info only if you please....and whilst im at it...bluray or not to bluray...im unsure...the benefits...i mean do the expensive blank blurays not have a shelf life???
