How do you go about talking to someone? Someone "IM'ed me once on Limewire..and I would like to know how to talk to someone. As our "screen names" it showed our IP addresses.

lmao, u could chat in kazaa and al that stuff. i was imed like a couple of times..... freaky.....
 
Kazza heh my sister downloaded that and within a week her PC was roallaly jacked up. from the stuff it installed an an extra and then dosn;t even let you uninstall kazza it self.
 
i always block imcoming chats, why do you need to chat with people across the world that have no clue who you are? lol

yup yup thats why I have limewire PRO, I got pro for free to lol.

people might just want to ask you something about the file they are downloading off of you too. I see what they have to say and either respond or don't.
 
i have LimeWirePro too, excellent, although there isnt much of a difference form the free one. lol (bid on my monitor:P)
 
I think kazaa would be better tha limewire if it werent for all the crap kazaa pust on ur computer. But I do remember when limewire was junk....

I believe there are some versions of kazaa that were released by different people that don't contain any viruses. Such as Kazaa Lite, K++ edition, and possibly some others.
 
LimeWire doesnt have any spyware, i ran scans and it didnt find anything (except tracking cookies which form by going to websites), and kazaa is full of spyware. I do think kazaa would be better if it didnt have spyware, but you can get Kazaa Lite which has no spyware.
 
the fastest P2P that i've tried was bearshare , but it has some spyware , then limewire , then shareaza ........... kazaa is LOADED with spyware;)
 
i think just about everything is better than kazaa. isn't kazaa loaded with spyware because it downloads Gator along with itself?
