I am using an HP Pavilion dv9443ca Notebook PC and running Vista. One of my favourite apps is Limewire. I have installed the latest version, turned off the Microsoft Firewall, turned off AVG virus protection, uninstalled and re-installed Limewire, but it NEVER connects! It will sit with a single bar of connectivity (bottom left of the software) and when I attempt a search it says "You are still connecting to the system so your results may be limited".
I am using Bell highspeed internet (7meg) and nothing appears to be wrong with my connection. For interest sake, I connected to my next door neighbours network to see if that would make any difference - it didn't.
