we have a store that has broadband internet...frickin sweet too :) k well i heard about a laser link to my house as it is within about 2 blocks of my store and we can see my house from my store...i wanted to know if any of u have heard of a laser line-of-sight to get internet at home...i would appreciate any help!!
 
that might work...i dont know for sure if the person said laser or not :D srry
yeah would this connect my store to house so that we dont have to get a new subscription...u know keep same subscription just link a further distance :D
 
You would need direct line of sight. Cars, branches, birds... they would mess up the signal. I think you should do it from rooftops... Not low on the ground.
 
You might have heard correctly regarding the lasers. My one friend did an install for a company a couple years ago that connected two of the companies buildings together a few miles apart using point to point lasers running at gigabit speeds. Pretty cool stuff however I would not like being the one stuck paying the bill for equipment like that :D.
