LINUX distro?

Hey guys,

I have used UBUNTU but had many problems with it. Could you suggest a FREE Linux distro that works for you? I am interested in personal experience because I can easily get a list of the distros on the NET. Thanx in advance

I think those are the 3 "most user friendly" ones if Ubuntu isn't for you. Haven't tried any of them, but looking at Linux newbie forums they are the most popular suggested ones.

If you really want to "learn Linux" I heard Gentoo is the way to go. You pretty much build your own OS, it's not easy.
