Linux failure...

Okay, I am trying to install a type of linux which requires Syslinux.
...So, I went to Syslinux download page, downloaded a Syslinux .zip file.
Upon opening this .zip file, I found like a hundred tiny files, which I'm assuming some how combine into the actual Syslinux which I need...
I happen to be relatively new, and have relatively little background here so if anyone knows how I take this huge list of things that I just unzipped, and turn it into Syslinux...it would be awesome if you could help me out.
Thanks in advanced for your time, I know it must be frustrating getting requests like these...

I would probably go to their page and read the FAQs, and most likely it is some sort of archived image file, which you will need to extract and burn.

No real FAQ page, so I scanned the main page, and the howto page...nothing there really answered my question so far as I saw.
