Linux fixes proposition

I propose a sticky thread where we as users can post fixes to various problems we run into using a Linux distro.

It may help more members on here who aren't asking for help because they feel they won't get it.

It could also bring in some new users as they search for various solutions and find a data base on CF that provides several solutions. I could already provide several possible fixes to no sound on new install.

Just an idea.

Nothing wrong with having a Linux sub-forum. I think there are enough members here who use Linux.

Well what are some problems you all have had? Ubuntu has been flawless for me. As for some non Debian Distro's skype has been some problems for me.

fix: su -c 'yum install qt.i686 qt-x11.i686 libXv.i686 libXScrnSaver.i686' for Fedora users.
