Could i install somthing like this http://www.gnome-look.org/content/p...e2=13548-2.jpg&file3=&name=MacOS-X+Aqua+Theme on linux without beryl and stuff
Yeah you can, those are only window borders (and icons).download that file (tar.gz file) from Gnome art and go to theme and click add.
Or you can alternatively download Art-manager from synaptic it will help you with icons and window border colors

cheers mate

am not on ubuntu right now so i could have helped a bit better but once i get home i'll update

Pretty much any software you want can be installed via Synaptic Package Manager. As far as Compiz goes, did you enable that restricted driver? If you did and tried the 3D Cube, then you answered your own question.

Edit: That mac menu you are refer to is Engage Dock made for enlightenment in the Elive distro. You can probably install that with Synaptic Packet Manager. If not, just do a google search.

I went into Restricted drivers manager and it has one thing there " software modem driver, not enabled " if i enable that maby i can enable my graphics card?

will that do any damage to my computer?

I don't think that driver has anything to do with your graphics card. I don't what it will do. Probably nothing if the title is correct.

run this in the terminal and paste what it says here:
glxinfo | grep direct

When you checked the box to install the games, did you hit apply? Did it give you an error? If so post the error here.

Post the output of
Code:
glxinfo | grep direct
just like that, copy+paste, then copy+paste it here. Just do it!

what video card do you have?

just curious as to why you never answered in every other post about what video card you have?

Post the output of just
Do it! Or i am not going to help you anymore, you are pissing me off and i am at the ends of my patience with you. I am all for helping newbies at linux but when you dont do something i ask in order to help you repeadadly, i cant want to help you.
