So do you have any effects after enabling them in System>>Preference>>Appearance? Any fading windows when minimized, wobbly windows, anything?
 
Yes I have xtra enabled works fine but my graphics card isnt compatible with beryl or compiz fusion ( well least im preety sure ) and thats why i started this thread.
 
What is a good movie maker for linux? Like theres windows movie maker, And i use a program i think its called Power DVD or something that i can make DVD menus and such with. Can i install these with wine? OR is there an alternitive

Are there still any effects or no? And what video card do you have?!
 
if you go into the system hardware menu (can't recall what its called in gnome) it will list all hardware. Then get the newest driver and install it.

What video card are you running?
 
Yes i do have wobbly windows and stuff, but i want more but graphics card isnt supported.

YAY i got compiz Fusion working. Now can somebody tell me how to use it well to get it so when i move my mouse theres drops and stuff like that?

DUDE OMG. I have been asking this forever and you keep giving me the same answer "my gpu isnt supported". If you have any effects it is supported!!!!!! THats why i kept asking and you never answered me!

Anyways, congradz. Btw, it was working the whole time ;)

mmmm beryl looked better...... JOKES.

Also any hints on how to Get any more cool stuff?
 
Ok when i download it, It automaticly opened and it says " ERROR Rong Architecture " amd64 " do i need to open it with somthing else?
 
I deciden to get a new Start Bar, So i deleted everything, So i went into add to pannel, And there was no wireless signal icon, were it shows all differnt wireless signals and such. How to i get it back? please
