Linux isn't a bad choice. It's just different. If you can set it up for her and tell her to only download new software from the software center you will minimize problems.
Yeah. If this person only uses the computer for Facebook and such, you'll probably be fine. Well, it is all set up and ready to go for her. Anybody that don't have the no how to take someone with them to buy a computer, even at a thrift shop doesn't seem to know to much to me. It is not a bad beginner's computer tho. But I did inform them in a letter I sent back with my friend to give them, how much Widows 7 Home Premium Retail or OEM would cost. I use Open office myself. Is Libreoffice better than Open office?
