thermaltake bigwater 745 with zalman northbridge block

temps-cpu -21oC idle
motherboard - 23oC idle

Just a question, I am not giving you a hard time.

Why did you run the tubes out the back the way you did instead of using the supplied grommets?

no mate-i'm thinkin of upgrading to quad soon so ive not attempted on the amd as i dont think they go far
What was the point of getting a water cooling setup if you aren't planning on overclocking your CPU yet?

Nice setup, but I am wondering why you have two radiators.

got it for christmas, was something i was after for future, there are two radiotors setup so that the heat from the cpu is cooled before traveling to motherboard then cooled before going back to cpu....

just made sense...

because its not a good fit but you do get a plate with the kit that is perfect fit through one of the spare slots...

i did have it that way first!

I'm actually starting to like that case.. =o looks really nice inside (altough, i dont like the green hoses very much, they alwas remind me of aquarium pumps etc :P ) looks really neat tough. :)

Loop order dont make a difference to temperatures, but id have it set up like this too

ouch... a thermaltake water kit. have you ever heard the saying "friends don't let friends use thermaltake?" lol

yeh same as vista is rubbish and antec nine hundred!

i see other people saying things about products but i have them and i know what there like from my point of view

so you could say i have all 3 and have no problems with them at all

i like to try my own stuff up and make my mind up myself

it's great that you're going to try it yourself to see how it runs, but i'll just warn you that sooner or later, something in the loop is bound to go bad or leaks.

as for placement of where the radiator should be, it really doesn't matter whether you have it right before the CPU or not. the water temps in in the whole loop will be almost be exact same temp. your CPU will not heat up the water fast enough before it circulates a whole cycle again, unless you have like a $10 pump and flow rate is extremely slow.

yeh i see what you mean-the water is pumping that fast! still i would not change the loop if it makes no difference it might aswell sta the way it is...

well fingers crossed it doesnt leak-i have all my old heatsink and fans etc so if the pump fails ill swap it all back and build my own!

was just a starter kit for me, i would however upgrade liquid cooling when i upgrade my cpu, then sell my amd with the thermaltake setup!
