I am a new university student studying Mechanical Engineering. I need a laptop which will be compatible with programming needs of the course. But also I would like to have alot of battery and a well powered machine. It needs to be fairly reliable and well built aswell. I have been looking at some of the HP machines which look good other than a supposedly rubbish battery life. Is this true? and if so, what are similar laptops which would do the job?
