Sorry, this is a correction,

]Sorry, this is a correction, how can I get rid of some of my little icons on the right side of my tool bar? Thanks[/B]
 
if u can access it, go to its "properties" or "options" menu and look for anything tha says "dont start at startup", or "start when windows starts" and "load at startup" and uncheck them if they are checked.. anything of that sort.. and restart and try.. if not, post back and list which ones you are trying to get rid of and maybe u can disable it from msconfig
 
right click on the tool bar area and go to properties. then go to customize and you can choose to hide the icons. also you probably want to disable them from starting during boot.
 
1. I think if u dont know the exact use of every icon in the taskbar area, then the above suggestion is for you.

2. U may use msconfig to permaenently remove them, but the software will also not load.
 
Click Start>Run, and type in msconfig. Click the "Startup" tab. Click "Uncheck All". Click Ok. Restart. That will get rid of all of them.

Or, uncheck the ones that you recognize that you don't need (yahoo, AIM, etc.)
