Load Windows 7 ???

Hello All
Well I have done my first build and as i predicted I have a problem.

I put a new mother board, cpu, graphics card, RAM and had to get new CDrw/dvd drive.

kept the hard drive

bought a windows 7 64bit as well but when starting it keeps loading XP cant get windows 7 disk to run i press F12 and scoll to boot from disk it comes up as loading from disk then XP starts any suggestions.

Ideally i want to format system and load win 7

Go into the BIOS and set the CD drive as first boot device
Insert Windows 7 CD
You will see "Press any key to boot to CD...."
Press a key
Windows 7 Setup will load.

Yea ! you need to change The First boot to CD/DVD ...

Or as soon as you switch on the system keep on hitting "F8" (i think it is?) but may very depending on motherboard...that usually shows you a boot menu asking to where you want to boot from,then you can select your DVD Drive and install windows from there saving messing around in the bios.

once installed just take out the disk and windows 7 should boot from the Hard Drive as normal.
