Loading windows problem...

I am fixing my neighbors comp as I mentioned in other posts..
I am not able to install windows.(w2kpro)
The hard drive is fine as it's been tested with another mobo and windows does load .
I am getting this msg at start just past F6 to set raid file \i386\bios.inf could not be loaded setup cannot continue
and also
ntdetect failed
Ive seen haha's mobo is low battery, do you think this could be the issue?

Ive tested the mobo which I taught was the issue and it works 0_o
I did this with one of my hdd's and windows loads perfectly...
So if I swap components everything works...
Maybe it's the hdd(but it works with other mobos..)

The boot configuration is rigth cd-rom is first..

I don't think It's the boot sequence or the battery.
I have tested the mobo with another hard drive and it runs fine. (only when jumper is set at cable select)
On the older hdd there is no cable select option (caviar wd300 ill check the site for more info)
If someone has input on this please don't hold back and insert it
