Loads past boot screen then restarts

I turned my computer on and it is just passing the boot screen and rebooting but if I hold in f8 etc I get the options, I tried safe mode and last known etc, but it just reboots. I can get in Windows Repair software on the computer but it freezes.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Sounds like a boot loop.

If you have a Windows XP Disc, insert it and boot to the CD. When everything loads, choose R for the recovery console. Select the installation of Windows you want to use (there's usually only one) and type "chkdsk /p" (without quotes). Once the CheckDisk finishes, type "Exit (again, without quotes) and see if Windows will boot.

Post back with your result.

Either faulty HardDrive or connection, or faulty Ram
It can also be over-heating CPU

Check and reseat all internal connections
Disconnect any not required addon cards or connections
Blow out all internal dust (emphasis on PSU; CPU and GPU)

Go into the BIOS and check the processor temperature. You may also want to try removing the RAM modules one at a time to see if any changes occur.
