Loaie - New Sandbox Randomly Generated Worlds!

Ohai everybody! My name is Alexander Hållenius. I am the developer of a new game called Loaie. Trying to get some Alpha testers. The game will soon go into survival, but for now it's pretty much just building, killing monsters.

I'm trying to release at least one update each week. Every time I release a new update my friends go like insane. (All of my friends love the game).

So what the game basicly is, is a new version of Dwarf Fortress. It's 2D, but still alot of fun to do in it.

So, tell me what you think about it, some links & development videos + download is further down in the thread. The game will be free until the survival mode which I were talking about in the top of the text. (The Survival Test will be free).

I did'nt really even think of Minecraft while creating it.
I'm one of those guys that like those old games like Dwarf Fortress.

So, Minecraft, No.

But Minecraft's an awsome game!

well..... :P I'd rather play Minecraft. This game has a ways to go. But, It must of taken forever to program even as small of a game as this.
 
Btw, the next version will release on Sunday. Where monsters come out & you can start planting 10 new plants.

I'd like to give you a bit of credit. It's really annoying when a game comes out like minecraft or cod4, and everyone thinks any similar game afterward is a clone. I will be honest, I didn't play it, but I watched both videos. There is minecraft, which is full on 3d. There's is terraria, which is 2d side scrolling. And now you have this which is...2d....but in a different way. Haha. But seriously. To be doing this yourself. Good job.
