Local Are Connection - Network Cable Unplugged?

I have recently got a new mobo. I plug my ethernet cable into the socket (as i did with my last mobo) and I can connect to the internet. But VERY often (sometimes every few seconds) I get a pop up saying my network cable is unplugged. It disconnects for abotu a second then re starts!

I have tried a different cable, still the same. I have installed the Nvidia network drivers i got with the mobo over and over but with no luck, anyone help?

May be the problem is at the other end !
check the other device your cable is connected to and test it on another computer.
And may be the problem is in the cable, so test the cable on another computer too.
If they both work OK, then we know the problem is in your PC.
 
an easy way to test ur pc is to throw a nic card in it, if it does the same thing ur mobo is messed up but could be just the onboard nic
