Have acer aspire and no problem, but my wife just got a acer aspire one kinda like a note book and when we try to go on our banks web site the small acer won't go to login page? the only differents is on adress bar there is a lock icon after bank address and the acer that works doesn't have a lock icon. The smaller acer when I go to help and then about internet explorer no version shown and where it says cipher strength ...nothing and the acer that goes on login page has version 9.0.4 something and cipher strength says 256-bit so I'm at a loss:( thanks for any help.
 
step 1: Look in windows updates for an update for Internet Explorer. If there is one, install it.
Step 2: Check site again.
if doesn't work
step 3: Navigate to www.google.co.uk/chrome and install google chrome.
step 4: Check site again
step 5: report here to show if any of this helped.
 
Chrome worked fine , still don't know why I.E. won't work so if I have to use chrome for that one site I'm O.K with it??
