hey guys, my friend made a logon password for his account on windows xp. b ut now he forgot how he typed his password and hes locked outta his computer, is there a way around this to unlock it or reset password? please help. thanks in advance.

If there is another accont on the computer that is admin go to start click on the dilio to change password thing. (User Accounts) Click home>the account you want to change>then change password.

Get him to start up the computer in Safe Mode. When it XP login screen comes up, there should be an account called "Administrator". You can remove/change the password from that account.
