Locking Computer?

At my school if i press CTRL , ALT DEL then click lock computer it will lock it , then i have to input my password to sign back on.

Can i do this on my home pc? Im running Windows Xp.

Then it probibly depends on what OS your running and how the users login.

I think your pressing the Windows key, releasing, then pressing L. You need to hold down the Windows and L key at the same time.

Nope Im doing Windows Key+L, also if I go to task manager and go up to "Shut Down" it has: "Switch User WinKey+L"

Correct, but with one user Task bar says "LOCK COMPUTER" Winkey+L

If you are the only user and no passwords have been set then software locking is your option.

In XP Home, Windows Key+L switches users. In XP Pro, it locks the computer.
