I need to log into my computer as a Domain Admin. Since im not on the Domain however it says that there are no logged on servers to process my request. The prolem is I cant hook up this computer back to the Domain. Is there any way i can log in as this Domain Admin? Currently i can log in only as two standard users with no privilges.

There is a way, if you have a windows XP disc lying around. Do a REPAIR INSTALLATION. While it is installing (it should display "installing devices" or some such) hit SHIFT+F10. This will bring up a console. In the console, type USRMGR.CPL. You can now create a new local admin user. If you get errors regarding services not started, open services.msc and manually start the services it requires.

If you truly are an admin on that network, you can rejoin the computer to the domain any time you like. Also, if you truly were an admin, you could log on locally to the server. If you truly were the admin, you could log on remotely from any station on the network.

Smells incredibly fishy to me.

No, I've seen this before. My girlfriend and her sister went to a private school where each student had a laptop and the entire school was hooked up via wireless. When they graduate, their laptops are still on the domain and these poor girls have no way of logging into them to retrieve their stuff unless they go back to the school site. They own the laptops, but they can't access them without prince charming (me) coming to the rescue.
