How do you log on as administrator on windows xp?

Enter Safe Mode, and you will be prompted to use the Admin account to log in along with another user accounts.

Or simply change the login type to the not-so-pretty one and just login normally

If you want to give your user admin rights. Follow Narafa's steps then go into user accounts and change it (You will probably know this already but just thought I would help you out)

Or simply when you logon as normal on the WINXP screen, press ctrl+alt+del and type in adminstrator with the password, or no pw (if not set).

note: If the admin password is not set, you should set it.

Hehe i said that above but ya, you gotta change it to that type of login first cuz the defaults is the pretty-login
