is there any way of viewing which applications have been opened through out the day? and for how long?

i looked in event viewer but couldnt find anything.
 
i need to know which applications have been opened through out the day.

for example from when you turn on you computer and you open outlook express, then you open windows word, then exel.

is there any way in viewing which specific user opened the applications and which applications they opened?

does windows keep a log of this?

i need to know this cus im not the only one that uses my computer and i want to whats been going on
