Logitech G19 and G9X Combination

Hi all Just wanting the members of Computer Forum to give me their opinions on this one and whether it is worth purchasing a logitech G19 and a G9X or is there better keyboards/mouses out there. I have come into the money recently and am looking to spend a bit on the beast. :D
 
I have not gamed with the G9X but I have messed around with it a bit at Microcenter. If I had the money to get another mouse I would get that one.
 
The logitech g19 is pretty interesting. Function-wise, its not any different than the g15 or g11 except for the screen. Its great on the g19 because you have a wider range of functions on it now such as performance charts, picture viewer and even a video viewer now. The price is all thats bad about it. $200 is quite a lot for that keyboard.
 
Nice one thanks guys keep those comments coming, I can pick up a g19 for $189 and i'm not too phased by this as keyboards last years and I will certainly get my moneys worth out of it.
 
Always have been a big fan of RAZER keyboards/mouses, I guess however I have never tried the g5 or the g15. Will definitely plan on giving them a shot, however I would have to say that the Lycosa mirror keyboard and Destroyer are both nice.
 
I love the G9x, can't really say i am that much of a fan of the G15/G19 keyboards, then again i prefer the old mechanicals over membrane keyboards.
 
I used the G9x at work experience today, it's nice, but it's not heavy enough. I like my mice nice and heavy :)

BTW I bought this G5 off the man above me ;)
 
Ah ok thanks linkin i will have to do a bit more research on this one i'm not sure if i want a mouse that is too light. Was the feel of the mouse strong or did it feel a bit flimsy/weak.
 
If you want to save some serious cash, you could always go with the G 110 which is pretty much the same keyboard minus the display. I have had it for about a month now and is pretty nice.
 
They are really nice. The mouse is a bit small though, but it's still nice. I currently have the g5/g15 set-up and i love it. About the keyboard, it's a bit expensive in my opinion. But if you do have the money and you plan on using it a lot then i say go for it.
 
The G9x looks okay, but it's really light and i don't think you can add weights to it. I like my G5, I still think it's a bit light with all the 4.5g weights in there
 
Money has gone through paypal just waiting to get a few more opinions on whether this would be a good buy/combination and I will also look at some reviews.
 
Ok guys i purchased the G19 and G9x and set them up last week and after a week of use i am very pleased with both keyboard and mouse. :)

I love how well it works with Ventrilo. I can be in the middle of a game and when I'm playing with people I've never played with/against, I can see who's talking and see the comments people leave or whatever. Great keyboard for gamers.
