I was fiddling with the logonui.exe files trying to make my own and I had it going for a bit but then I tried to put back the original xp pro logonui.exe and it didn't work. Now I can only get the option where you have to type in the user name manually. I've already tried changing the logonui.exe file with others and I still only get the manual logon setup. I tried to set the defaul settings from when it was shipped by pressing F2 at boot up but that didn't work. I'm not sure what to do... I've been reading trying to figure it out. I thought if I posted here I could figure it out faster whilst at the same time still looking over the net. Any help would be great, thanks.

I remember using a login manager of some sort that reset the login files, but unfortunatly I can't remember the name of it. Try searching google for something along the lines of login/logon manager. Perhaps you can even try extracting the logonui.exe file from the XP cd.
