havent decided on power, anyone have any psu recommendations? and will that cpu bottleneck the video card? Is this a good build, to not be upgraded for a few years?

each cost around $470-$500(not including psu, need help with wattage, and finding a good, reliable one) without tax or shipping.Which one is better for this price range? And anyone have any builds for under $500(needs win.7,hdd, cd drive) thats better then mine? if not, say so. thanks

Just a bit of advice. It is a lot easier to help you when you stick to one thread. I offered more advice in you last thread.

It also makes it easier if you put a parts description with the link.
Most of us know what the parts are and just a link only makes us have to look to see what it is.

but that was the wrong place to post about whole computer setups

True. Sorry, but its just a word for the future. The advice from over there stands though. The AMD setup is good, but you can beat it with Intel if you do not get windows 7 and go for windows 8.

Once again, You will have driver issues with W8, especially video drivers.
I don't expect to see good drivers till after W8 RC is released and some may take awhile even then.

What do you mean? Why can a Intel setup beat a AMD setup if it runs on a different OS?

because he will have $100 more to work with, thus he could get a i3-2100. from there up gaming you will beat AMD stock.

I don't have any OS disks right now, so i have to buy a new OS either way, so that wont save me money unless you mean sticking with win.7 instead of win.8 in the future...

he's saying to get the win8 consumer preview wich is free and works pretty well, i'm on it right now actually cuz i didn't have a 100 to spend on the os, and it's lighter too so it boots faster and rins smoother than 7. Although it doesn have issues sometimes since it is basically a beta, like normally crysis won't work, but either putting it in xp(sp3) mode or running as admin fixed that.
