Long time on start up

Hello,

I recently did an upgrade for my computer and all components seem running perfectly. The only issue I noticed is that my computer is now taking a lot longer to finish loading on start up. Can any one point me to what could be the problem and how to diagnose it? I would appreciate it much. Thanks a lot

Regards,
Rene.

List of parts you have and/or upgraded would be the first step. List exactly what you have done.

This was my system:
CPU: Intel i7 CPU 930 @ 2.80GHz
RAM: Corsair XMS3 6GB (3 x 2GB)
Hard disk space: 2 TB
Motherboard: ASUS P6T (http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P6T/#specifications)
Power supply: Cooler Master G750M
Graphics card: Gigabyte Radeon HD 5830

This is what I upgraded:
1) Added Corsair Vengeance 12 GB (3x4GB) to my already Corsair XMS3 6GB (3 x 2GB) so total is 18 GB RAM
2) Replaced my Gigabyte Radeon HD 5830 graphics card with Sapphire Nitro R9 380X

My guess there is an issue between the new and old ram. Are the timings and speed the same?

not sure if this is related but yesterday I was trying call of duty ghosts and when I reached a certain level, my pc started freezing at exactly the same place.

ok I can try that however I did test removing the old DIMMs and only leaving the new ones 3x4GB Vengeance and still it took longer than usual to finish loading on start up
