I don't believe those benchmarks. They were given by ATi. I have the feeling they twisted the facts just a little...

those benchmarks are for 1600x1200 the old ATi card looked impressive at 1600x1200. i have a 1920x1080 1080p lcd and from what ive researched the only card that could keep up with any games at high res was the nvidia 7900 and 7950 gx2....i think...

That's why I always look at a site like Tom's Hardware Guide or something that compares multiple different cards on multiple different games. Get a much better picture of how the card performs with different settings.

We also thought intel core 2 duo benchmarks were bull too. Won't know until they are really tested though.
