Lookin for a good burner with lightscribe

I really hope you change your mind about that craptastic AMD.

Anyways, I'm having a lot of luck with Pioneer and LG burners.

I think people prefer SATA drives just because it makes their case look cleaner.

You can get a Lite-On SATA Lightscribe DVD burner on Newegg for like 25 bucks. Anything more expensive and you're paying for the name. It's just a DVD burner.

SATA is definitely faster than IDE/PATA. Although you will not realize the speed difference on a DVD drive. You certainly are not going to be burning anything at a speed higher than what IDE/PATA can deliver.

Yes i agree. But SATA is faster for hard drives :D

Well is it? In a single computer I very much doubt anyone would notice a difference. What was PATA? 120mb/s or something? A hard drive can't read or write at that speed anyway.

There's no doubting it's neater though.

I have no idea what PATA is it must be the next one from SATA.
