looking 4 good cheap card

im looking for a good card that can run most all of the modern games like CSS half-life 2 quake 4 CoD2 and whatever others that i might think of, i am shooting for nothin less that 30 fps at all times basically i dont want it 2 sink much lower than that, any recommendations?
 
I dunno. Judging by his system specs I bet he's got AGP.

Go with the 6600GT as spamdos suggested. On the ATI side a 9800 pro would be almost comparable.

yeah maybe, that computer is not bad maybe it deserves a 7600gt (which is more expensive than a 6600gt or a 9800. will last longer though (can handle new games e.t.c)
 
the 7600GT is more if a high-end mid-range card, seeing how you can play CSS maxed out and get like 80fps.

If you want to get a really cheap, but good card, i would recommend the 9600XT for AGP, or an x700PRO for PCI-E.
 
ahem...lets just admit it, the fx5500 sucks. Ok, we really need a budget here, if you just want to play css at 30fps, then a 6600gt is plenty for it.
