looking at a new mouse

I am looking into getting a new mouse since my current G7 mouse is about to bite the dust, I think. Every few minutes it will freeze for a few seconds. I have read that this is a pretty common problem with this mouse.

I may go wired this time so I wouldn't have to deal with batteries. I will probably stick with Logitech unless someone can convince me otherwise. This mouse will be for gaming and regular desktop use. I might want to get one that has weights. Which mouse would you guys recommend?

Logitech G5 since your used to the shape of the G7, or upgrade a bit and get a G9 or G9x.

i use Logitech and it works very well. so try this you can also try G9 or G9x.

I've had G5's for awhile now and I love them. But if there is a store with some display models out, handle them all and see what you like.

Thanks for the suggestions. I went ahead and bought the Logitech g9x and I am loving it. It was a bit pricey but I think it is worth it.
