Hi, I'm new to this forum, and have a question for you guys.

Does anyone know a brand/type of (15") LCD monitor which runs fine on 800x600 resolution ? I know it's a weird question but it's for a specific application which become way to small onto bigger res.

Normal 15 inch screens which run onto 1024x768 can also be set to a lower resolution but as you all know, most of the time this results in a blurry view.
So I need one that handles 800x600 well.

Anyone ? I would appreciate !

Regards,
Andy, Belgium.

I'd also like to know this. I'm in need of this info right now. Its not a weird question at all. I want to replace my fathers dead 17 " CRT which had a 15" viewable. I'd like to replace it with a 15" LCD to save space and its nice to save a few watts too. Trouble is, most 15" LCD's have a native resolution of 1024 x 768. Apparantly they look poor at 800 x 600. Setting a 15" viewable monitor to 1024 x 768 makes the text too small too read for my father.

Does anyone know which 15" LCD monitors look good at 800 x 600?

:)

What text? WinXP has the option to change the display text size - icons, menu, task bar etc. If I didn't use that there's no way I'd be able to read anything on my computer I have hooked up to my TV.
