Looking for a completely silent laptop ...

Hello .. ;-)

I'm looking for a completely silent laptop (no blower, maybe SSD HD) that has also the power to process sound & video files. It should also fulfill these criteria:

- no larger than 15", preferably less
- reasonably light-weight,
- good battery time (minimum 6 hours in practice)
- reliable - both in daily use and mechanically
- quality brand
- with WIN 7
- with a DVD-drive
- at least 4 GB RAM
- high resolution screen (>1400 px width)
- can be second hand
- reasonable price (< USD 1000)
- I live in Denmark so it should be available from Northern Europe (all major brands usually are).

Is this possible? I'd appreciate your suggestions.

I think that you are looking for the impossible. A passively cooled 15" laptop with any kind of power at all is going to overheat almost immediately.
 
id suggest a toughbook, but you will have to buy a second hand one, they are reasonably powered, passively cooled, but have no 3D acceleration really for graphics, but other tasks will do fine.
 
I had a 15" Dell Studio XPS that fit those exact criteria, I didn't realize how quiet it was until I got my Vaio.
