Looking for a decent netbook

Hey,

I'm currently looking for a decent netbook. I'm really not sure what make and model I should be aiming for.

My only requirements are 1GB Ram (At least) and a 160GB Hard drive.

I intend to run Ubuntu Netbook Remix, (It need's to work with Ubuntu 10.04 as much as possible, if graphics, Wi-Fi and Ethernet work okay then I'm happy)

Budget isn't much of a problem, I'll just keep putting money aside each month until I can afford it but a max of £300 would be nice.

I'd appreciate it if someone can help, I'm really not sure who makes 'the best quality' netbooks.

I'm looking for decent build quality, I don't want to be replacing parts, or having it repaired in a year and I generally don't trust Acer having knowing lot's of people who have had no end of trouble with their laptops after a year ;)

Thanks,
Liam Smith

Asus works well for the price. Just make sure you can get the drivers. I also got a recovery disc, drivers are available and came with a 160 gig drive. for what im using for works fine. I will add memory later i guess. 250 gig might be nice.
It was a gift from the kids. about $300.

I heard the Asus EEEpc are good.

Id also highly recommend a Lenovo S10 series,I had one theyre very good build quality....they are quite a bit more expensive than any of the other netbooks but they have larger hard drives and come with windows 7.
