Looking for a free file shredder program that works on windows 7

I was using simple file shedder on my last computer with windows XP that worked great. I now have a new computer with windows 7 and the simple file shredder gets an error message when I try to shred something. Any other programs that work on windows 7?
 
Shift+Delete.
Magical combination, works wonders. Plus, it comes with all Windows versions, absolutely FREE!

Well, maybe not, as you have to pay $200+ for Winders...

Have tried running the program using compatibility settings?
