Looking for a gaming laptop~

I originally was going to get a desktop since they're cheaper in terms of parts, but they're not exactly mobile, and I realize that you basically pay a fair amount more for the laptops due to mobility, but I move around quite a bit due to parents being split + relationship stuff.

ANYWHOOOOOOO.

My budget is roughly $800, I'm a bit lenient on it since I'm willing to go up some for a pretty decent gaming laptop.

As far as what I particularly want (went through some of the threads to get an idea of what sort of information I should put)...

I value performance over battery life, since I'll mostly be at some sort of desk anyways. Resolution would be 1920x1080, and the bigger the actual screen the better, since I have eyesight problems. As far as the actual specs go, I'd plan to run things like

Dota 2, Heroes of Newerth, League of Legends, World of Warcraft, TERA Online, Rift, those types of games at maximum settings with a steady 40~60 FPS. I've no idea if you can get a laptop for $800-ish that can do that, but as I said, I'm willing to expand a bit on money.

For your requirement, you will be looking at $1100 - 1600
With $800, you would only able to get laptop with GT 840m & screen of 1366 x 768

In response to the Y510p, I'm really liking it. I'll probably end up getting it, since I really have no qualms with it after looking it over.

And in response to getting a desktop, I mentioned that I move around a lot (roughly every 2-3 weeks, one hour drives from one house to another), and I'm not sure if a desktop could survive that much moving.

Hey! I'm using Y510P too. It's good but when you're not turning on your dust removal from lenovo energy management, it gets hot! I guess Lenovo wants to keep the noise level below average but sacrificing the temp..

How loud is it, roughly? I usually don't mind loud noises, as I've had to deal with low-end desktop computers which were usually very noisy.
